Stanley Land and Homes has chosen to support local homelessness charity The Wellspring as our 2024 festive charity partner.
Established in 1990, the Wellspring supports people in Stockport who are experiencing homelessness or who are at risk of becoming homeless by providing the resources, understanding, and care people need in the community.
The charity’s staff and volunteers are there to understand the complex and individual challenges of each person in need and help them make positive changes to their lives.
Chris Curtis, director of Stanley, said: “Year on year our housing crisis is deepening. The fantastic work of the Wellspring is becoming increasingly vital as more vulnerable people are made homeless through no fault of their own. It is a privilege to be able to offer our financial support to Wellspring at this time.”
