This project in the heart of Stafford town centre regenerated a derelict car showroom and vehicle testing centre with new mixed tenure affordable.
Stanley’s expertise in developing complex brownfield sites was demonstrated throughout the project which presented several technical challenges.
It required extensive liaison and engineering with the Environment Agency to remodel the bank of Sandyford Brook which neighbours the site to manage and alleviate food risk further downstream.
The result was 23 new houses and apartments for affordable rent and shared ownership, helping to transform an eyesore site and alleviate high demand for quality homes close to the town centre.
